We are on the lookout for the next standout member of our funds investment team — someone who is driven, analytical, and passionate about delivering industry-leading financial returns from LP investing. The ideal candidate is fascinated by the world of venture capital and startups, is self-motivated, and has a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. Passion for data, strategic thinking, and making an impact in a fast-paced environment are essential.
In this role, you’ll wear multiple hats across all areas of our funds investment work, playing a vital role in:
- Manage AI Analysts: We have invested significantly into software tools that support the Funds investment process so that most data entry is now done by AI. Our associates work directly with our AI Analyst tools to maintain quality and correctness. Our goal is to optimize the humans on our team and push as much data entry to the AI.
- Drive Due Diligence: Perform deep-dive due diligence to assess new and existing VC fund investment opportunities. You’ll be the cornerstone of manager assessments and portfolio monitoring. Your insights will help us navigate the fast-moving tech landscape with agility.
- Investigate Venture Industry Trends: Keep us in the know about portfolio updates and venture capital trends. Your data mastery and analytical insights will enable us to identify critical shifts and make strategic decisions with confidence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachlor’s Degree and 4-5 years of work experience required from relevant industries including tech, management consulting, or finance.
- Exceptional analytical skills (both qualitative research and quantitative analysis)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including analytical functions); eagerness and ability to learn and use new tools to improve efficiency. Experience leveraging AI tools to increase your daily productivity.
- Extreme attention to detail, a demonstrated personal system to manage heavy and diverse workloads.
