🟠 Michael Mignano joined Union Square Ventures as a General Partner. Michael previously worked at Lightspeed Venture Partners as a Partner, which he joined after exiting his podcasting startup, Anchor (acquired by Spotify).

🟠 Tanaz Mody left her role as a People and Talent Operating Partner at Lerer Hippeau. Tanaz started a new role as a Chief People Officer at Stakeholder VR Supergroup.

🟠 Mark Fiorentino joined K8 as a Managing Partner and Head of Venture Capital. Mark previously worked at Bain Capital Ventures as a Partner. K8 is a hybrid private credit & venture capital firm.

🟡 ​Liz Benz joined Rally Ventures as an Operating Partner. Liz previously worked at Jamf as a Chief Sales Officer. Rally Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm focusing on technology companies.


NEW FUNDS

These firms are ready to write checks, with new funds recently closed.

🔴 The Business Development Bank of Canada is launching a $150M fund to invest in life sciences startups.

🔴 New York-based Collide Capital closed its second $95M fund to back early stage fintech, supply chain, and future of work companies.

🔴 New York-based futurepresent launched its debut $300M fund to invest in physical AI, applied AI in complex industries, and AI infrastructure.

🔴 Palo Alto-based Eclipse closed $1.311B across two funds to back manufacturing, logistics, energy, and semiconductors startups.

🔴 Bay Capital Partners launched the India Digital Opportunities Fund to support late-stage Indian digital and technology companies. The fund amount was undisclosed.

🔴 In partnership with State Universities Retirement System of IllinoisFairview Capital Partners launched its Series D of the Lincoln Fund. The $150M fund will back emerging managers.

🔴 London-based Eka Ventures closed its second $107M fund to support early stage companies focusing on life, health, and sustainability.
