Orient Growth Ventures is looking for a Venture Capital Intern
Orient Growth Ventures is growing rapidly. With the launch of our third fund, we continue to build on our mission: giving investors access to exclusive venture capital funds in India and Southeast Asia, some of the fastest-growing markets in the world.
Therefore, starting in October 2026, we are looking for an enthusiastic Venture Capital Intern who will be fully integrated into our team in Amsterdam for at least four days a week.
During your internship
You are involved in the entire investment process. You support us with, among other things:
- Fundraising and investor communication
- Market, sector, and fund research
- Due diligence on venture capital funds
- Fund selection en investment analysis
- Financial analyses and modeling
- Drafting clear presentations and investment memos
You will be given a lot of responsibility, work directly with the investment team, and gain a unique insight into how an emerging-markets VC fund-of-funds operates in practice.
Who are we looking for?
- You are a university student, for example in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Business, or Data Science.
- You are analytically strong, accurate, and enterprising.
- You have a strong interest in venture capital, startups, and emerging markets.
- You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English.
- You are skilled with Excel and PowerPoint
- You know how to effectively apply AI in research, analysis, and daily work.
- Relevant work experience is a plus, not a must.
Practical information
- Amsterdam
- Start: September/mid-October 2026, by mutual agreement
- At least four, preferably five, days per week for a period of four to six months
- Market-rate internship compensation
- Proficiency in Dutch and English
