Axci Capital is an operator-led venture capital firm investing in next-generation companies across DeepTech and frontier technology.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Venture Fellow – Technology & Research to help build the intelligence and technology infrastructure behind our investment platform.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who sits at the intersection of AI, technology, venture investing, and research.

🚀 The Opportunity

You won’t simply research startups or use existing AI tools. You will build. Your mandate is to identify parts of the venture process that can be made dramatically more efficient through AI, automation, data, and intelligent workflows – then turn those ideas into working systems.

This may include building multi-agent systems that discover startups, conduct structured research, monitor markets, organize fragmented information, support diligence, and surface investment opportunities.

You’ll have significant autonomy to experiment with new models, tools, APIs, agent frameworks, and data sources and turn promising concepts into practical infrastructure used by the Axci team.

🎯 Core Responsibilities

1. AI & Multi-Agent Systems

• Design and build multi-agent workflows for startup discovery, market intelligence, investment research, and diligence.
• Develop agents capable of researching companies, founders, markets, competitors, technologies, funding activity, and other relevant signals.
• Experiment with LLMs, agent orchestration, APIs, databases, retrieval systems, and emerging AI infrastructure.
• Connect multiple tools and data sources into intelligent, repeatable workflows.
• Continuously test and improve the accuracy, reliability, and usefulness of these systems.

2. Startup Discovery & Venture Intelligence

• Build systems that continuously identify emerging startups, founders, technologies, and investment opportunities.
• Develop proprietary databases and structured intelligence around Axci’s investment themes.
• Track funding rounds, technical breakthroughs, market developments, partnerships, talent movements, and other relevant signals.
• Build automated pipelines that transform fragmented information into structured, actionable venture intelligence.
• Develop new approaches to identifying companies before they become broadly visible.

3. Technology-Enabled Research & Diligence

• Build AI-assisted workflows for company research, founder intelligence, market mapping, competitive analysis, technical research, and initial diligence.
• Automate repetitive research and information-gathering processes while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
• Create systems that synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, structured outputs for the investment team.
• Develop reusable research frameworks and internal knowledge systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve the speed, depth, and consistency of investment analysis.

4. Internal Investment Infrastructure

• Work directly with the GP and investment team to identify high-value opportunities for technology and automation.
• Prototype internal tools quickly and iterate based on real-world use.
• Integrate AI systems with APIs, databases, CRM systems, research platforms, and other tools.
• Build reusable infrastructure rather than one-off experiments.
• Help establish Axci’s proprietary technology and intelligence layer as the firm scales.

5. Emerging Technology Research

• Stay deeply informed on developments across AI, robotics, DeepTech, infrastructure, and other frontier technologies.
• Evaluate new AI models, agent frameworks, developer tools, and emerging technologies for potential use within Axci.
• Translate technical developments into practical applications for venture investing.
• Contribute to market maps, technology landscapes, investment theses, and other research initiatives.

🔍 Who You Are

The Builder: You have actually built things. This could include AI applications, agents, automations, software, data systems, research tools, or other technical projects. We care more about what you’ve built than the title on your resume.

The Technologist: You’re comfortable working with LLMs, APIs, automation, databases, Python or similar tools, and rapidly evolving AI infrastructure. You don’t need to be a traditional software engineer, but you should be able to turn an idea into a working prototype.

The Venture Curious: You’re genuinely interested in startups, venture capital, DeepTech, and how emerging technologies become companies.

The Researcher: You enjoy going deep on unfamiliar companies, technologies, markets, and technical concepts. You know how to find signal in large amounts of information.

The Systems Thinker: When you encounter a repetitive process, you naturally ask: How could this become a system? How could this be automated? What could an agent do?

The High-Agency Operator: You are comfortable with ambiguity. Give you a problem rather than a detailed specification, and you will figure out how to approach it, build a prototype, and iterate.

The Experimenter: You enjoy trying new models, frameworks, APIs, and tools. You don’t wait for the perfect technology stack before building.

Within your first several months, you should be able to point to working systems, not just research documents.

Examples might include:

• A multi-agent system that continuously discovers relevant startups.
• An automated company research workflow that produces structured intelligence.
• An agentic diligence workflow that coordinates research across multiple sources.
• A proprietary database of companies, founders, technologies, and market signals.
• An AI-powered system that monitors emerging developments across Axci’s investment themes.
• Internal tools that meaningfully reduce manual investment research and sourcing work.

The exact systems are up to you. We want someone who can identify the highest-leverage opportunities and build them.
