As we continue to build our platform, we’re looking for an Associate to join our investment team. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership over their work and is ready to operate with the autonomy and accountability of a more senior investor from day one.
What you’ll do
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities across AI infrastructure, AI applications, and consumer internet
- Lead primary research and competitive analysis to support diligence on active deals
- Build financial models and prepare investment memos for partnership review
- Support portfolio companies with market intelligence, hiring, and strategic introductions
- Assist with fundraising process and investor communications for Fund II
- Represent BroadLight at industry events, conferences, and founder dinners
What we’re looking for
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking or venture capital
- Strong analytical foundation with a track record of rigorous, independent thinking
- Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI and the consumer internet landscape
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex ideas clearly
- High agency and ownership mentality
- Existing network in tech, media, sports, or entertainment is a plus, not a requirement
