Your Mission

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our Danish office in Copenhagen towards continued growth and success. You will be responsible for shaping your strategy, driving commercial excellence and ensuring long-term profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and connections with people. You are also extremely driven, hands-on and able to inspire a high performance team.

CVX always invests with and through the best business angels for the individual entrepreneur. Today, we have over 700 angel investor partners in CVX who invest in and support companies where they can add real value.

CVX currently consists of 20 ambitious and talented people in Copenhagen, London & Oslo.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement your sales strategy
  • Build a strong lead generation system
  • Drive sales and continuously meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Once certain sales targets are reached, you will be responsible for hiring, developing and leading a top-notch sales team
  • Actively participate in budget work and set goals for the organization
  • Follow KPIs and continuously develop and implement action plans to improve results
  • Represent CVX at events, gatherings, conferences, etc.
  • Work closely with and collaborate with other leaders
  • Report directly to the CEO.

What We Expect From You

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in venture capital, high-growth startups, or fast-paced work environments
  • A natural ability to sell
  • Documented success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • High work ethic and a strong sense of urgency
  • Extremely driven and a desire to be the best in your field
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership of everything you do
  • People-focused with the ability to bring people together
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and board level
  • Ability to gain trust from business leaders
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Humility and a passion for building and developing new businesses
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Preferably a network within the Danish startup ecosystem.
