UnternehmerTUM Projekt GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of UnternehmerTUM GmbH. As the first point of contact for (medium-sized) companies at Europe’s largest startup and innovation center, UnternehmerTUM Projekt GmbH offers practical support in solving innovation challenges. Its goal is to work with established entrepreneurs to secure the future viability of Germany as a hub for innovation and business, and to sustainably strengthen SMEs. Interdisciplinary teams develop solutions to current tasks and challenges in digital transformation, products, technologies, services, and new business models within innovation projects. Our experts help companies develop new business areas as well as to review and optimize existing business models. As an intern, you will actively support the further development and implementation of our accelerator programs RESPOND , Energy , and Urban . You will work at the interface of startups, industry partners, and the innovation ecosystem, focusing on sustainability, the energy transition, and urban transformation.
Your tasks
- Participation in projects for the further development and optimization of the accelerator programs RESPOND, Energy and Urban
- Support in the management and operational implementation of the programs as well as day-to-day business
- Conducting research on start-ups, technologies and trends in the areas of sustainability, energy and urban innovation.
- Support in identifying, selecting and evaluating start-ups for the programs
- Maintenance of databases and further development of knowledge management structures (e.g., Notion)
- Creation of presentations, reports, surveys and support for workshops
- Close collaboration with industry partners, start-ups, mentors, coaches and investors
- Supporting the consulting team in day-to-day project-related business
Your profile
- Studies (Bachelor’s in the last semesters or Master’s) in Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation or related fields
- Prior practical experience in a start-up, innovation or consulting environment is an advantage.
- Strong interest in topics such as sustainability, energy transition, decarbonization, net zero, impact investing, circular economy and smart city/urban innovation.
- Experience with organizational and process workflows as well as common tools (e.g., Notion, Excel, PowerPoint, Miro)
- Excellent German and English skills as well as strong communication skills.
Proactive, structured and independent work style with a high degree of initiative.
