BGV is an early stage VC firm based in Silicon Valley with a presence in France, Israel, India and Japan. With $500M+ ****under management, we are investing in innovative early-stage AI-native Enterprise software startups.

Our focus is on supporting startups originating thousands of miles from Silicon Valley (especially in France, Israel, and India) and helping them penetrate the US market to establish their leadership.

Some of our most notable investments are ****Platform.sh, Greenly, Evinced, AIDash, Totango, MindsDB or Darrow.

🕵🏽‍♂️🕵🏻‍♀️ What you will be doing

Joining our internship program is a unique opportunity to be involved with and learn from the leading startup ecosystems (Sillicon Valley, Israel and France). You will be based in Paris but we expect you to work closely with our team in the US as well.

Your principal missions will be:

✨ Identifying startups set to become future tech leaders – Attend tech events to learn about new trends. Look for opportunities that fit our investment strategy. Help with the pre-qualification process. Connect with entrepreneurs weekly.

📊 Assisting in Due Diligence Process – From due diligence (Including market sizing, competition analysis, business plan analysis) to closing and follow-up.

🔍 Market Research – Deep dive on Enterprise trends and present your conviction/thesis to our Partnership.

📈 Contribute to the fundraising process of our next funds – Screen LPs, prepare financial documents and investor presentations.

🚀 Improve the company’s process, tooling and automation – Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline workflows, contribute to the enhancement of internal AI tools and systems for better productivity.

🌟 What will make you successful

• You are passionate about innovation!
• You have some strong analytical skills – you love reading/analyzing massive amounts of information and sharing your conclusion/conviction to others.
• You love building AI tools to automate some of your processes
• You know how to work independently (super autonomous!) and how to manage your time efficiently. We are a small team, so being proactive needs to be natural for you.
• Demonstrate responsiveness, act with integrity and enjoy the journey are values that resonate well with your personality.
• Prior experience in VC/M&A/PE/start-up is required.
• Tech background is a plus, or at least you are not afraid of deep tech.
• You must be fluent in English (oral and written)
