Sofinnova Remote

Sofinnova

Sofinnova, a leading biopharmaceutical investment firm established in 1974, is seeking biomedical doctoral students, medical students, or postdoctoral fellows to join our venture fellowship program. The Firm manages distinct venture and public equity funds with an approximate combined AUM of $3.3B. The funds invest in both private and public equities in the life sciences industries, with a focus on biotechnology and clinical-stage therapeutics.

Opportunity

Sofinnova is seeking five Venture Fellows with a strong interest in biotech investing and a background in the biological sciences, chemistry, or medicine. Sofinnova Fellows will work as a team to execute in-depth analysis into a therapeutic area or modality type, which will then be presented to our investment committee.

In close collaboration with our investment team, Fellows will create an investment thesis based on scientific rationale, drug development risk, and commercial opportunity. In addition, a weekly, informal curriculum will be presented by leaders within our organization to explore the intricacies of clinical drug development, IP, deal dynamics, and the world of venture capital. Fellows will have the opportunity to shadow investment team members and contribute to new investment opportunities.

We are looking for candidates who can commit approximately 10 hours per week starting in June 2026 until the end of February 2027. A monthly stipend will be provided. Full attendance of the weekly presentations is expected of all Fellows. Meetings will be held via Zoom.
