Role Description
We are hiring an Analyst to support the investment team across sourcing, analysis, and execution. This is a high-intensity, detail-oriented role for someone who enjoys analytical work and wants direct exposure to the venture investment process. You will work closely with Associates and Managing Partners on live deals, market research, and internal processes. This role is designed for candidates early in their careers who want to build a strong foundation in investing by operating in a high-performance environment. You will not be a passive observer. You will contribute directly to the work that drives investment decisions and supports the firm’s day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities
– Investment Analysis: Support the evaluation of investment opportunities through market research, company analysis, and data gathering. Assist in forming initial views on sectors, business models, and competitive positioning.
– Financial Analysis: Assist in developing financial models, analyzing company metrics, and supporting valuation workstreams. Ensure consistency and accuracy across outputs.
– Deal Flow & Diligence Support: Track inbound opportunities, maintain pipeline systems, and support diligence processes across financials, customers, market data, and competitors.
– Investment Materials: Support the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and internal materials. Maintain a high standard of clarity, structure, and attention to detail.
– Market Research: Conduct research on emerging sectors, technologies, and trends to support investment theses and ongoing market coverage.
– Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Support: Contribute across the firm on high-priority initiatives, including operational, marketing, and internal projects aligned with team needs.
What We’re Looking For
– Early Analytical Experience: 0–2 years in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or a related field. Strong academic background preferred.
– Strong Analytical Skillset: Ability to work with data, structure analysis, and draw clear conclusions. Comfortable supporting financial and strategic workstreams.
– Attention to Detail: High level of precision and care in all work. Able to manage large amounts of information while maintaining accuracy.
– Work Ethic and Intensity: Willingness to operate in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Strong internal drive and commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Interest in Venture Capital: Genuine curiosity about technology, startups, and emerging sectors.
– Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form. Capable of structuring thoughts and presenting information effectively.
