Performant Capital is seeking an Analyst – Portfolio Operations to support one of its portfolio companies, Healthcare Process Consulting (HPC), a leader in administrative and billing services supporting school districts, particularly around Medicaid School Programs.
This role is focused on client success and operational execution, helping clients effectively
use HPC’s software and services while supporting internal operations.

Key Responsibilities
● Serve as a primary point of contact for client communication (email, phone, troubleshooting)
● Support and guide clients in effectively using HPC software and processes
● Provide best practices, training, and ongoing support to clients
● Execute process-driven administrative and operational tasks
● Assist with basic financial reporting and Excel-based work
● Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams
● Support internal operations and contribute to ad hoc projects
Ideal Candidate Profile
● 0–3+ years of professional experience (flexible for strong candidates)
● Interest in private equity, operations, or portfolio company environments
● Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, or software environments preferred
● Strong work ethic with a proactive, “figure-it-out” mindset
● Comfortable learning new tools, systems, and processes quickly
● Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing interactions
● Detail-oriented and comfortable with structured, process-based work
● Willing to take initiative and contribute across multiple areas of the business
● Ambitious and growth-oriented, with a desire to advance professionally
