The High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) is one of the most active early-stage investors in Germany and Europe. Our investment team combines two core tasks: identifying and financing the most innovative startups and securing the necessary capital base. As a public-private partnership, we collaborate with a unique network of corporations, family offices, and public institutions.
Few other roles offer such variety: You will actively support the identification and approach of potential fund investors (limited partners), conduct investor profile research, and prepare presentations and documents for investor meetings. You will participate in meetings with potential and existing LP investors, gaining in-depth insights into the national and international venture capital landscape.

What awaits you
You are part of the fundraising team and support the responsible managers in all phases of the fundraising process:
- LP Research & Prospecting: Identification and analysis of potential fund investors (corporates, family offices, institutional investors) as well as maintenance of the corresponding databases and CRM systems.
- Investor Relations Support: Preparation and follow-up of investor meetings, creation of presentations, pitch decks and information materials
- Market and competitive analysis: Research on LP markets, fund landscapes and relevant trends in the VC ecosystem
- Reporting & Documentation : Support in creating reports, newsletters and other materials for investor communication
- Events: Support in the preparation of selected conferences and investor events, as well as in the organization of in-house event formats.
- Internal coordination: Close collaboration with the investment and communications team to ensure a consistent external image for HTGF.
That’s what makes you stand out.
You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a comparable field and also possess the following qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for venture capital, start-up ecosystems and innovation topics
- Prior experience in fundraising, investor relations, finance, consulting or business development
- A structured, analytical approach to work and a good sense for numbers and relationships.
- Very confident use of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Very good German and English skills
- Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a love of networking
- Independent, goal-oriented work style and a high degree of initiative
- Enjoyment of work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
