Entrepreneurial Capital
Entrepreneurial Capital is a small, nimble investment fund focused on partnering with self-funded searchers in the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) community. We invest in passionate “acquisition entrepreneurs” who find, acquire, and run a single small business.
As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a highly capable, organized, and proactive individual to serve as our Managing Partner’s “Right Hand Person.” In this role, you will wear many hats—Special Projects, Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Marketing Manager, Investor Relations Coordinator—and be instrumental in shaping Entrepreneurial Capital’s growth. Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
- Help manage and optimize our presence on LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and specialized platforms like SearchFunder.
- Coordinate with freelancers/agencies to produce compelling creative content (e.g., animated videos, graphics).
- Track engagement and outcomes from social campaigns to continually refine our strategy.
Investor Relations
- Assist in preparing clear, engaging email updates and periodic reports for current and prospective investors.
- Develop and execute strategies to provide a best-in-class investor experience, ensuring transparent communication and regular touchpoints.
Networking & Relationship Management
- Support our Managing Partner in proactively identifying and connecting with potential strategic partners and advisors within entrepreneurial groups and networks he is a member of.
- Build and maintain a structured approach to reaching out to these networks for both near-term and long-term relationship development.
- Develop creative strategies to stay engaged with key contacts, keeping relationships warm over time.
Deal Sourcing & Screening Support
- Support the founder in sourcing new deals and screening opportunities.
- Coordinate initial due diligence efforts; eventually, you may oversee a due diligence analyst who reports directly to you.
Special Projects & Operations
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the founder, anticipating needs and offering solutions before issues arise.
- Assist with ad hoc projects to support the growth of Entrepreneurial Capital
- Assist with ad hoc projects to support Nonprofit Megaphone, a company the Managing Partner founded

- Financial or ETA Interest (a plus): Prior exposure to private equity, finance, or the search fund model is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range of $60k or more per year based on experience.
- 11 Federally Paid Holidays and unlimited PTO after 90 days of employment.
- Soft-close week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, allowing you time to relax and recharge before the new year.
- After completing paid training, you’ll receive a minimum of $400/month in credit through ICHRA or $300/month through NPMPerks, which can be used for insurance or medical reimbursements. If you opt into ICHRA, we have a benefit guide to establish a Health Savings Account for healthcare savings!
