Emerging manager? Think Venture5.
Venture5 Catalyst provides products, programming, and promotion for emerging managers.
Our mission: Support 100+ new firms representing $1B+ AUM over the next decade
We help emerging managers by
- Highlighting their firms to the 50,000+ founders, VCs, operators, and allocators we reach every month
- Plugging them into our community of GPs and LPs through IRL and virtual events like our “Moves in VC” dinner series, V5 Summit, and Emerging Manager Spotlight series
- Leveraging the personal networks we’ve developed across 20+ years in the venture ecosystem

Emerging managers go early, go weird, and go overlooked — and we believe have the most potential to deliver outsized returns over the long run.

FAQs
All of the things that you see on the page we’ve been doing across the span of many years. But we never really tied it together into a cohesive story and communicated that story to the venture ecosystem. The hope is that by launching Venture5 Catalyst, we’ll be able to reach even more emerging managers and the LPs who back them.
No. However, our founder invests personal capital into firms, funds, via syndicates, and into startups. You can see specific examples of this elsewhere on the page. If we launch a fund in the future, we’ll announce it through our newsletters. To make sure you’re the first to hear about it you can subscribe to any of them by going to this page.
Venture5 Media is our content platform that reaches 50,000+ founders, operators, VCs, and allocators monthly, creating visibility for emerging managers across those audiences. Venture5 Catalyst leverages this media reach alongside our community events and personal networks to provide support for emerging managers at every stage of their journey.
A syndicate is a group of investors that pool their capital together to invest in a company or venture fund that the syndicate ‘leads’ select. When you join a syndicate, you’ll be invited to deals that you can choose to invest in on a deal-by-deal basis. If you’d like more details about how syndicates work generally, the team at GoingVC wrote an excellent overview post about syndicates which is linked here.
We do not make investment recommendations as everyone’s situation is different. You should consult your legal, financial, accounting, and other advisors before making any investments, in any asset class. Additionally, venture capital investments are highly illiquid with high potential for losses, including complete loss of your investment. Tread carefully!
